CURE Childhood Cancer 2025 Flag Campaign Website

Client: CURE Childhood Cancer

Designer: Lindsay Muncy

Copywriter: Savannah Bernson

Creative Direction: Greg Grantham

Web Developers: Jeremy Hill & Lisa Dubravec

Brief: CURE Childhood Cancer partnered with our team at The Partnership to support their annual Flag Campaign website for the second year in a row. The goal was to drive awareness and engagement to increase flag sales, donations, and volunteer participation.

A key focus of the project was improving the user experience this year by making the site easier to navigate and simplifying the purchase journey.

Approach:

I designed a refreshed landing page experience inspired by the 2025 campaign flag, created by one of the CURE kids, and focused on simplifying navigation while clarifying the flag purchasing and captain sign-up processes.

Key updates included:

A streamlined homepage focused on conversion

Improved web experience for finding a neighborhood captain

A clearer and more intuitive captain registration experience

An enhanced e-commerce page for flag purchases

My Role: Lead Designer

I led the website refresh from initial concept through final development handoff. The process began with a website style tile exploration to establish visual direction, which I presented to the client for alignment. I then designed responsive page layouts that balanced the campaign look and feel with accessibility, performance, and user engagement.

Throughout the project, I improved designs based on feedback from our internal creative and account teams, ensuring alignment with project goals. Once approved, I collaborated closely with our developers to ensure the final product was user-friendly, ADA-compliant, and true to the design vision.
